Please meet at the main entrance. Call upon arrival and we’ll guide you to the workshop space on the second floor.

We also travel up to 300 miles from San Jose for private workshops (travel fee may vary depending on distance and group size)..

Not at all! This workshop is designed for complete beginners. Our expert instructors will teach you everything from threading the yarn and safely handling the electric tufting gun to the techniques required for clean lines and consistent density.
The tufting process itself is intensive and fun, typically lasting 2.5 to 3 hours. We recommend setting aside a full afternoon or evening to allow for design time, tufting, and a short break.
The rug is ready to take home immediately after your session.
The size of the rug is determined by the frame size used in the workshop, which is typically a canvas of approximately 28 x 28 inches. This size is ideal for a wall hanging, accent rug, or floor mat.
Yes, you can choose almost any design! However, simple designs work best for beginners. We strongly recommend avoiding overly intricate details, thin lines, or small lettering, as these are much harder to execute with the tufting gun. You will be asked to submit your design prior to the workshop for review to ensure it is tufting-friendly.
Safety is our top priority. We provide thorough instruction on safely operating and handling the electric tufting gun. All participants are closely supervised by our staff throughout the session to ensure a fun and secure environment.
Absolutely. Rug Tufting is one of our most popular high-energy team-building activities, as it is tactile, rewarding, and offers a fun creative release. We can host groups at our San Francisco studio or set up a custom Mobile Workshop at your corporate event space.
